Three settings to fix before converting
With text documents the conversion is dull in the good sense. Sheets and decks need a minute of preparation.
The print area
Without one, a wide table spills across pages in an order nobody can follow. Set the area and the scale first, then convert.
Repeat the header row
A long table split across pages loses its headings on every page after the first unless the row is set to repeat. In a PDF that is permanent.
Builds on slides
A slide that reveals its points one at a time arrives with everything showing. If the sequence matters, split it across slides before converting.
